創立于2017年，美國照明設計獎（Light Design Awards,簡稱LIT）旨在表彰國際杰出的照明產品設計師和照明實踐者。照明是一門藝術也是一門科學，是設計最重要的元素之一。LIT設立之初衷是為了表彰照明產品及其應用的創造力和創新性。
  近日，第五屆美國照明設計獎Lighting Design Awards 2021獲獎名單公布！據統計，本屆美國LIT照明設計獎全球共有189個項目獲獎（年度大獎2個，燈光設計類128個，照明產品設計類59個）。
  其中兩項年度大獎分別由來自希臘公司Eleftheria Deko&Associates和美國產品公司Opteris Studio斬獲。在128個燈光設計類別大獎中，中國項目57個，占比44.53%。此次上榜的中國團隊分別是：浙江大學建筑設計研究院有限公司、北京清控人居光電研究院有限公司、CCD香港鄭中設計事務所、KLID達觀國際建筑設計事務所、北京寧之境照明設計、北京光石普羅照明設計等，恭喜！
